General Information
When is the best time to visit?
All year round!
Mclaren Vale is located between 50-250m above sea level which means it mirrors a Mediterranean like climate. Warm summers give way to fresh autumns and moderate winters. We suggest bringing layers regardless of the time of year, so that you can enjoy all that the region has to offer. Each dome has split system air conditioning to keep you warm and Wild Spirit, Longhorn and Marrakesh also have wood fireplaces.
What is included in your nightly rate?
Our rate includes a full continental breakfast each morning as well as complimentary snacks and drinks. It enables you to use the shared barn space with BBQ, Pizza Oven and lounge space with fireplace.
Do you cater for children?
Whilst we love our little people, we are unable to accommodate children at this time.
What is the minimum night stay?
There is a two-night minimum stay at each dome.
What if we need to cancel our booking?
It would be a terrible shame but we understand that sometimes plans change. Cancellation within 14 days of arrival will be fully refunded. Less than 14 days, unless we can fill the booking which has been reserved for you, you will forfeit 50% of your payment. Cancellations within 3 days will forfeit 100% of your payment.
How far apart are the domes from each other?
Each dome is located approximately 15mtrs from each other. They are all fitted with privacy screens to ensure that you are not overlooked in any way.
Is the accommodation quiet?
Mostly!
Our domes are located adjacent to working vineyards and there are occasional farm vehicles moving past the domes. Whilst we are located in a rural area, there may be the odd noise that you hear during the day! During harvest (generally March – April), there are harvesters that pick during the evening which do make noise. Whilst it is a novelty to see, if you are easily interrupted, we suggest you don’t visit during this period!
Before your stay
Can you help with transfers?
We are available to pick you up from the Adelaide Airport if required at a cost of $40per person. Please contact us prior to your arrival to arrange.
I have a food allergy. Can you accommodate this?
We certainly can.
Please make note of this in your booking so we can ensure that we can meet your dietary needs!
How many people can you accommodate in the dome?
Each dome has a King Size Bed so can sleep a maximum of 2 people.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately given the nature of the domes and the lack of fencing, we are unable to accommodate pets.
Are the domes warm?
Our domes are amazingly warm and cosy!
The design ensures that the temperature remains consistent inside whilst a split system air conditioner is located in all domes, and wood fireplaces are contained within Wild Spirit, Longhorn and Marrakesh!
How do we check in?
You will receive an access code 24hours prior to your arrival to access your keylock, which is located on the privacy screen closest to your front door. Check-in is at 3pm and check-out is 10am on the day of your departure!
During your stay
Can we bring friends onto the property to meet us?
Only guests staying are permitted on the grounds of Divine Domes, unless agreed and discussed with us prior.
Can we enter the vineyards adjacent to our dome?
The vineyards which surround our property are privately owned by Olivers Taranga and Fox Creek wines and are not to be entered into at any time. Please respect our neighbours and remain within the gardens of Divine Domes only!
How far away is the closest town?
Mclaren Vale is located 4kms away from Divine Domes. It takes approximately 6 mins and has a variety of restaurants, shops, Coles and Foodland, Doctors and specialty stores.
Is smoking permitted?
Our space is a smoke free environment, so unfortunately, smoking is not permitted.
Do you provide in house massage, tours and other activities?
We absolutely do! Please view our Activities tab to find a list of service providers in our area as well as some fabulous experiences that you can indulge in. Please contact us at stay@divinedomesmv.com.au to make bookings or to assist you in any way. We encourage you to book prior to your arrival to ensure you don’t miss out on your chosen experiences!
Are the domes serviced daily?
Our domes are only serviced for stays 4 days or longer. You will find ample towels and amenities within the dome for the duration of your stay. Should you require anything topped up during your visit, please contact us at stay@divinedomemv.com.au or call 0432 356 570.
